Fiber Mascara has been all the rage lately. A day won't pass on my facebook or instagram feeds without someone raving about the amazing results from fiber mascara. I wanted to try this craze to see how long and luscious my lashes would look.
I was provided the Mia Adora 3D Fiber Mascara at a discounted price for reviewing purposes.
Packaging is something that sways me. I love cute packaging! This came in a cute black and hot pink box with velvet inside.
This is a 3 step process, for me I decided to make it a 4 step process.
I first coated my top and bottom lashes with Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Then put on the first coat of the fiber gel mascara. This step is getting your lashes prepped for the fibres.
The next step is to apply the fibres. You must be very careful not to get the fibres in your eyes. If you do major Ouchy!
The final step is to apply the gel to keep the fibers in place.
To be honest, I did not notice a huge difference in my lashes. In fact when I asked my mom which lash you thought I had the fiber mascara on she selected the lash I only had Better Than Sex on. I prefer a few swipes of mascara instead of this 4 step process. My lashes are thicker, they did not get that much longer. Something I did not like was how my undereye was full of black residue after a few hours passed. I did not have to use make-up remover to remove this, so that was nice.

The last few months I have been watching so many beauty youtube gurus. I am obsessed! I have been watching youtube channels more than actual TV. These ladies are so entertaining with their haul videos, favorites and beauty tips. I have discovered s many new products I need to have! Not to mention it is amazing how some have made youtubing a full time career for themselves. I have been inspired by these women to start my own youtube channel. Carlibybel: Carly always looks amazing! She has great make-up looks and her style is awesome. She isn't scared to experiment with her style and go out of the box. Her inspirational quotes can make a bad day turn good. I always look forward to her posts and gaining inspiration from her.
Casey Holmes: Casey seems like the sweetest girl and super down to earth. She is a southern belle. Her make-up tutorials are amazing and she puts so much work into channel. She posts multiple videos a week, and always shows her personality. She has a casual style that totally suits her. I love watching her videos!
Belinda Selene: Belinda Selene is such a bubbly, sweet girl. I love her videos, they are just so pretty! Her style is cute and her decorating videos are to die for. One could dream to have her glam room She also got me into planners, who knew organizing could be so fun? I'm so happy for her new vlog channel because she is always so happy!
Dulce Candy: Dulce is one of the pioneers of youtube beauty gurus. She was actually one of the reasons, I started blogging in the first place. I love her unique style and dedication to what she does. Not too mention her target finds, always make me want to go shopping.
The beauty guru community is so amazing! There's just so many inspiring woman and it feels like everyday, I find a new guru to follow! Who needs television when there is youtube!

Recently I have been toying with the idea of cancelling my Ipsy subscription. It's always exciting when I get the email my glam room has been posted, but generally it ends in disappointment. I previously addressed this in my last youtube video. Nevertheless, I forgot to cancel and ended up with another subscription bag for the month of October. I wasn't actually disappointed with this month's goodies.
This month my bag consisted of Starlooks Lipgloss: I really like Starlooks' products so I was happy to get this. This is the perfect pink for a neutral pink lip. I previously received the Starlooks lip liner so this was the perfect match. The lip gloss has a nice shine and lasts for awhile. I like the gloss, but would I order it online? Probably not.
Skyn Iceland Makeup Wipes: These wipes were full of product which was nice, sometimes I find that make-up wipes for some reason, don't have any product on them. I'm very happy that these make-up wipes did not break out my face. They were a filler product for me and I would never look into buying them.
Jesse's Girl Mineralized Baked Eye Shadow: At first, I was a bit apprehensive about this eye shadow. It looked pretty enough, but when would I ever wear green eye shadow.I blended this with an existing eye shadow I had and it looked so pretty. It's not overly pigmented but it was the perfect amount of color for work. I actually would look into buying more of these baked eyeshadows. They are $3.99, so they are a great deal and will last a long time.
Figs and Rouge Hand Cream-Mango Mandrin: This was my first time trying this UK brand, and I was not disappointed. This hand cream will be great for the winter, I get extremely dry skin, so this is perfect to throw in my purse. This has a tint of smell but is nothing overpowering or anything I could in trouble using at work which is a big thumbs up. This hand cream does not leave a greasy feeling on your hands too. I would maybe look at buying this product when it is used up.
ECRU New York BB Cream for Hair: When I first saw BB my initial thoughts were "yay a new BB cream to try out". Just as I was about to spread the cream on my face I realized that it was for my hair. I didn't even know that BB Cream existed for hair, but I guess it is one of those marketing ploys. I do like this product so fair, I can't really explain if it has had any benefits for my hair due to the amount of time i've been using it. I have to admit that I will never buy this product again, because i'm not really sure what it does.
Overall, this bag had 2 items I would buy for sure and the rest were things I would use. I will continue subscribing, because I love seeing that pink metallic envelope.

When I opened the masque up I was surprised and happy to see it was a sheet mask. Sheet Masques are my favourite because they super easy and not as messy to apply. I also loved the smell of this masque it wasn't strong but a very pleasant light smell. I followed the simple instructions on the back and was ready to enjoy my simple spa night.
After patiently waiting 15 minutes, I removed the masque and massaged the clay into my face. After washing it off I realized my face was very soft and felt very refreshed after wearing heavy make-up the past few days. I would recommend this product for the price you are paying for it. You grab a Montagne Jeunesse Masque, some girlfriends, candles, and some treats and have your own spa night!

Shopping like probably many of you is my favourite pass time. I love sharing my new goodies with my readers. My new goodies include some items from Forever21, UrbanOG, Organix and Andrea.
I bought these pieces from Forever21 to take advantage of their free shipping. I loved when Sesame Street played the I Love My Hair skit, so when I saw this tank top I knew I had to have it. It's perfect for a casual summer outfit.
I've seen a few bloggers wearing this skirt and I knew I needed it. This skirt is perfect for colorblocking. I like how it has a scalloped hem line which is a very big trend for the summer.
I picked up these rings. The blue/green one matches the maxi dress I wore in this post perfectly. I love diamond rings so this imitation one was needed.
The nearest Forever21 for me is a six hour drive away in a different country so I depend on buying things online. Forever21 Canada has excellent customer service. I always receive my items promptly within 2 days even though I only chose the standard shipping option. I enjoy ordering from Forever21.
My next purchase was these beautiful shoes from UrbanOG. I really like these pumps. The color matches perfectly with my new skirt. I like ordering from UrbanOG because they have reasonable shipping rates for Canadian customers. They always have discount codes and daily deals. My only complaint is that the shipping takes kinda long... usually 10 business days.
Morrocan oil is one of my favourite products to use on my hair. I have been using it daily for the past 3 months and have noticed my hair is shiny, silkier, and healthier. My previous oil was not available so I decided to try Organix Morrocan Oil. So far, so good.
I received these lovely Andrea lashes in the mail from AII Beauty. Stay tuned for a review on these. I'm really excited to use them. I have never used real hair eye fake eyelashes before.
Along with fashion one of my another favourite things is beauty products. I am always interested in trying new products to see how they look. When I go to Sephora or Ulta I always do serious damage. I decided to compile some of my favourite beauty products for you all.
Miss Cherie Dior: I love this perfume. I am always wearing it. The smell is wonderful and the ads definitely were a factor in my decision to buy this perfume. The ads were so girly and whimsical. The beautiful Natalie Portman is currently the face of their campaign. The perfume has hints of Green Tangerine, Violette, Pink Jasmine, Patchouli, Crystalline Musk, Strawberry Leaves, Caramelized Popcorn, Strawberry Sorbet. I would definitely recommend this perfume! Etre Facial Peel: This is one of my favourite products for my face. I was quite leery when I bought it as I was conned in by one of those men who grab your hand and tell you that you need to try their product from the Dead Sea of Israel in the mall. $4o later I ended up with this product. I have no complaints. It has done wonders for my face. I used to suffer from severe acne break outs and oily skin but this rarely happens anymore due to this product. It is a facial peel which takes off the first layer of your skin. It is much safer than chemical peels which I had been contemplating about getting. It leaves your face feeling fresh and smooth. Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil: This is a great budget find. I love the Nyx jumbo eye pencils. They are great to use as eye-liner, eye shadow and even brow hi-lights. The color shown here and the one I use the most is Black Bean. The jumbo eye pencils come in many other colors so I would definitely recommend trying them out. Nyx Cosmetics- Black Bean, $4.99
Black-Up! Black-Up is a cosmetics company that specializes in make up for Black women. This is is refreshing to find shades that are perfect for my skin tone. This concealer is one of my favourites because it blends in perfect to hide imperfections and dark circles. I would definitely recommend any of my readers with dark skin to check out this cosmetics company it is full of great products! My only problem is I bought this in Sephora in Paris and the North American Sephora's do not sell it :( Black-Up- 14.50€
MAKE UP FOREVER HD Foundation: This is my favourite foundation ever! I would recommend this to everyone! It is full coverage and looks gorgeous in photos. It leaves you feeling fabulous. Many MUA's use this on their clients. Joyce Bonelli uses this on Kim Kardashian. The foundation comes in many different shades to meet every skin tone! I love this product and hope it never is discontinued! Sephora, $40 Tarte Cheek Stain: I am a huge fan of cream blush. I don't like how crumbly power blush goes. Tarte is one of my favourite brands for cream blush. They have lot's of different colored blushes to match every skin tone and occasion. Tarte is a very eco-friendly make-up line which I trust to put on my face. The tarte mini cheek stain is not available anymore, however it is available in the full size! This is such a beautiful and natural color do not hesitate to buy this! Tarte, $30
Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer: Hard Candy is a line that used to be sold in Sephora. Now it is sold in walmart! Have no fear the quality has not been tampered with. It is still great! This concealer is one of their new products and I love it. It is a great dupe for Kat Von D's tattoo concealer. This concealer works great for covering tattoos, under eye circles, or anything else you feel you need covered. I was very pleased with this products especially for the price of it! Walmart- Concealer, $6.00
Hard Candy Hide and Glow Duo Cheek Tint: This is another cream blush I love. Hard Candy has done it again with their dual cheek tint. It comes with two shades which can be worn separately or together providing lots of variety. The blush is very long lasting, it always lasts me a whole day. The tint I choose was pillow talk.
