Sweater Time!

I bought this sweater during Black Friday from Pink Blush. I absolutely love this site. The prices are very reasonable. During this sale, I think with the discounts I didn't even end up paying anything for this sweater. I bought another shirt with this which I will be sharing on my blog. I liked this sweater because it is a perfect casual sweater. I love the print and colors. I already had these boots which match perfectly with my pocket. The shipping was incredibly fast and cheap. For Canadians it is only $5 and it took a week for me after ordering to receive which is awesome. This look is a great casual and comfy look for the colder weather. Work has been casual all month so I wore this outfit.

I'm Glad for Plaid

Today's post is featuring one of my favourite pieces, I bought not too long ago. I bought this plaid shirt dress during Forever 21's friends and family sale. I love this shirt dress because it is perfect for a casual and comfortable look but still stylish. I actually wore this outfit to go shopping. You can actually check out my day in my vlogmas video. I wore this shirt dress a few weeks ago during my trip to Toronto and it was perfect for flying because it was comfortable and stylish. I do not like to look sloppy on an airplane. After months of owning, I'm excited to finally share these boots with you. I bought them last year from an upscale consignment store we have here. These boots were a stand out piece and I knew I needed to have. They are great for the winter because they have treads on the bottom. I love how they are a combat style with a heel. I love plaid and am so happy I was able to get this dress. This is personally one of my favourite outfits because it is edgy and trendy.

My Trip To Toronto

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for my lack of posting lately. It has been extremely cold and I have been super busy studying and writing an exam. I am back. I did manage to film a mini haul of my newest things, so be sure to check out my newest youtube video. Anyway I thought I would share some snaps with you of my recent trip to Toronto.

In my last post I had mentioned I was going to be going to Sensation White. I went and it was an amazing experience. I have always wanted to see Afrojack and he was amazing and killed his set! I could not stop dancing to my favourites. The other DJs were great too. I really enjoyed Sensation  White and was glad I had the opportunity to go. Of course all white attire was required so this is what I wore.

Toronto is such a unique city. There are so many places to shop, eat and enjoy. Some of the things I did were explore Yonge st and the Eaton Centre. This was absolute chaos that weekend because of Black Friday sales, so I did not get to buy as much as I planned.

My favourite place I went shopping was Queen St West.  There were so many independent shops full of cool and unique pieces. I bought a very cute crop top I will be wearing in an upcoming post and I have shared in my mini haul. Shoutout to Zumel & Co. they had great pieces at a reasonable price and the staff were amazing! This store was hands on my favourite on Queen St West.

In terms of food I was happy to have Chipotle which is my favourite fast food restaurant and of course we don't have one here. The guac is just too good! I also got a box of Cinnabons for my family. We are all obsessed.  My favourite meal was at a super cute Sushi restaurant across the street from my hotel. It was so traditional and cute.  We had our own little mini room.

Have you visited Toronto?

Sportswear Inspired

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share with you today, one of my favourite wardrobe pieces... my leather sweatpants. These are always a great conversation piece, whenever I mention them people want to see them or cannot imagine what they look like. I love these sweatpants because you can dress them up or down. They were the perfect pants to wear for my flight to Florida last year. They were comfortable yet trendy.  The sportswear inspired look is one of my favourite trends.  Whoever thought Sweatpants and heels would look so chic together! Today's look however, was more of a dressy look. I love pairing white lace and leather together for a feminine yet edgy look. I wore this outfit to attend a basketball game. There's something about basketball games where you need to dress to impress. Kim, Beyonce  are always looking fresh at NBA games, so I felt like I needed to too.

Budlight Sensation: Into the Wild with ElleStyles

The time has almost come for another Budlight Sensation at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. I went last year and had so much! I'm happy to say I am going again this year!  This year will be even better, with some of my favourite DJ's playing like Afrojack and Bingo Players. The atmosphere is amazing between the DJs, props, and crowd. The most important thing is to make sure you follow the dress code which is White. Last year Sensation was in May, so it was very easy to find white clothing. However Sensation is in November this year  and white club wear might not be as easy to find.  panicElleStyles has got you covered for some sexy looks for Sensation White: Into the Wild. They have express shipping, so you will have nothing to worry about it!

Check out their Sensation White section on their website for some hot, sexy and of course white finds.

I am so excited! I cannot wait to attend.

Who are your favourite DJs?

You're Gonna Hear Me Roar

Snow has arrived... and i'm not very happy about it. I am more of a warm weather girl. I don't enjoy shoveling nor freezing my butt off while I take outfit photos. I will however, suck it up so I can continue sharing my daily outfits with you guys :).

Today's outfit features one of my favorite prints Cheetah! As you've seen in previous posts, I really enjoying wearing animal print whether it is cheetah, leopard, snakeskin. I love it all! I especially felt like wearing these pants because they reminded of the cheetah printed pants on the Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game, which I am sadly obsessed with. So I guess channeling myself in the game, I decided to wear these jeans along with a graphic tee.  I paired these prints with my favourite wedge sneakers. Wedge Sneakers are great for adding a comfortable but fashionable aspect to an outfit. I wore this outfit to work for a casual day.

Sweater Dresses Please

In the summer months you'll find me in sundresses, in the winter months you'll find me in sweater dresses. Sweater dresses are something I have been wearing for years, and will probably continue to. I have quite a few outfits featuring sweater dresses from the past few years. Sweater dresses are a perfect look; They are sexy, classy and if you have been working on your body a great way to show off; also they warm and an easy way to dress up. I love the colors of this dressy and also the leather accents. You know me I love leather. Lately, I haven't been able to get enough of purple's and plums. I've noticed more purple in my wardrobe and especially with my make-up. I've worn purple lips at least twice this week. I can't get enough of purple lips and purple eye shadow and eyeliner. Long live the purple trend.

I wore this outfit for a date at the coffee shop with myself where I had the most delicious Red Velvet muffin. It was the worst/ best cheat ever. I'm a little nervous now that I know they exist. It might not be good for my healthy eating After that I went to the course I am taking right now and then on to the final stop work. It was a busy day, but I was happy I was able to photograph this dress.

All About That Lace

Lace Dresses have been all the rage this year. I love wearing lace because it is such a classic feminine look. I actually bought this dress at the end of last year and barely got to wear.  With the fall weather in full force I decided to wear this to the office.  I love when black and cream is paired together. It always equates a glam look and red lips just seem necessary.

Halloween: Kitty Cat Style

I used to have such a love for the Halloween but the last few years, I have just been so busy, I haven't had the time to plan and create costumes that I wanted to. This year I decided to be a black cat. I know it is a cliche costume, but I had some key pieces I wanted to use. I recently bought this black romper during Shop Hope's major clearance, I thought it might be a little too much for a regular night out so I adapted it into a Halloween costume. I was inspired by some make-up looks from youtube, however on my way to my friend's my makeup got some water damage. My usual photographer (my mom) wasn't able to take my outfit photos, so I apologize for the lack of pictures..

Purple Aztec

Aztec is a pattern that has been very popular the last few years.  I own a few pieces myself, and they are always fun to style. You can't go on a clothing website nowadays without seeing one Aztec
piece. I wore this outfit for a day at the office. I love this skirt, and purple is not a color I often wear so today's outfit was especially fun.

October Ipsy Bag

Recently I have been toying with the idea of cancelling my Ipsy subscription. It's always exciting when I get the email my glam room has been posted, but generally it ends in disappointment. I previously addressed this in my last youtube video. Nevertheless, I forgot to cancel and ended up with another subscription bag for the month of October. I wasn't actually disappointed with this month's goodies.

This month my bag consisted of

Starlooks Lipgloss: I really like Starlooks' products so I was happy to get this. This is the perfect pink for a neutral pink lip. I previously received the Starlooks lip liner so this was the perfect match. The lip gloss has a nice shine and lasts for awhile. I like the gloss, but would I order it online? Probably not.

Skyn Iceland Makeup Wipes: These wipes were full of product which was nice, sometimes I find that make-up wipes for some reason, don't have any product on them. I'm very happy that these make-up wipes did not break out my face.  They were a filler product for me and I would never look into buying them.

Jesse's Girl Mineralized Baked Eye Shadow: At first, I was a bit apprehensive about this eye shadow. It looked pretty enough, but when would I ever wear green eye shadow.I blended this with an existing eye shadow I had and it looked so pretty. It's not overly pigmented but it was the perfect amount of color for work. I actually would look into buying more of these baked eyeshadows. They are $3.99, so they are a great deal and will last a long time.

Figs and Rouge Hand Cream-Mango Mandrin: This was my first time trying this UK brand, and I was not disappointed. This hand cream will be great for the winter, I get extremely dry skin, so this is perfect to throw in my purse. This has a tint of smell but is nothing overpowering or anything I could in trouble using at work which is a big thumbs up. This hand cream does not leave a greasy feeling on your hands too. I would maybe look at buying this product when it is used up.

ECRU New York BB Cream for Hair:  When I first saw BB my initial thoughts were "yay a new BB cream to try out". Just as I was about to spread the cream on my face I realized that it was for my hair.  I didn't even know that BB Cream existed for hair, but I guess it is one of those marketing ploys. I do like this product so fair, I can't really explain if it has had any benefits for my hair due to the amount of time i've been using it. I have to admit that I will never buy this product again, because i'm not really sure what it does.

Overall, this bag had 2 items I would buy for sure and the rest were things I would use. I will continue subscribing, because I love seeing that pink metallic envelope.

If anyone is looking to subscribe feel free to use my referral link:
Join me on ipsy and subscribe to the Glam Bag! You get 4-5 beauty products every month delivered to your door, for just $10. Michelle Phan curates the bags! Check it out here: http://www.ipsy.com/r/3wt0?sid=ipsypoints&cid=email

Fall Dreamin'

This fall has been a dream.  I have had endless amounts of Candy Corn and Pumpkin Spice drinks have been overflowing from my cup. I've had this dress for awhile, but I have never managed to take an outfit picture in it, so today was the lucky day. I wore this outfit for a long day at work. I love kneesocks, because I am not the biggest fan of tights. This is the perfect  time for kneesocks.

Halloween with Elle Styles

Halloween is just around the corner and I cannot wait. I wanted to share an awesome website for costume shopping especially for Canadians. ElleStyles is one of my newest sponsors and a great online store to purchase some unique costumes. The days are creeping closer and there's no doubt that if you haven't found a Halloween costume yet, you are starting to panic. Where I live, we do not have any Halloween Costumes, so online is one of the only options.  ElleStyles has lots of costumes I am currently debating over.

The most exciting thing is ElleStyles has a discount code for 20% off any costume over $100. Use the code 20%off100

So my question is what are you being for Halloween?

Breton Stripes

For the last year I have been obsessed with statement necklaces, but I have always dreamed of owning one like this. I was so surprised when I went to the Super Walmart and found a display of jeweled statement necklaces. I wanted every single one but I controlled myself and ended up buying this beautiful fuchsia one. I love statement necklaces because they are great for adding a punch to a casual look. I believe this look would be way more boring without my statement necklace. This was a casual outfit I wore to run some errands. On my day off I still like to dress cute but comfortable.
