Sorry for the lack of posts.  The streets here are covered in snow. We have gotten back to back snowstorms, making it almost impossible to take outfit of the day photos. After shoveling the deck I was able to snap a picture with my new dress from http://www.tbdress.com. How I Styled: A Windowpane Dress

The mustaches have been shaved, the air is chiller, and there's some holiday cheer in the atmosphere! Welcome December! It's been very cold and the weather hasn't been cooperating for some outfit photos. Have no fear, yesterday I was able to suffer through the cold and get some pictures taken.  Hopefully December will be better than November!

I bought this dress on my trip and absolutely love it. The window pane look is a trend I have really been enjoying. Taylor Swift has even been spotted wearing a window pane dress! I wore this look to the Millrats Basketball Game and some drinks with friends. Black and White with a bold lip are my go to colors for this season.

What I Wore to ... Calvin Harris

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the lack of blogging readers! I was recentlly vacationing in Florida and had limited access to the internet so I was unable to blog. I am back and ready with lots of new clothes I will feature in my posts. The outfit in today's post is what I wore to go see Calvin Harris at LIV Nightclub. I had never been to a nightclub like LIV before annd I had an excellent time. Calvin Harris is one of my favourite DJ's so I was very excited to see him for the first time and hopefully not the last! I love every song off his EP. My very favourites include: Thinking About You, Let's Go and Sweet Nothing. The man is amazing and very nice to look at on the eyes.

Travel Tips from a Fashion Blogger

Hi Everyone,

Today's post is about something most people can relate to. The dreaded idea of packing for a vacation. I love traveling but packing not so much. Right now I am in the process of packing for a trip to Florida. The only easy thing for me is I am going to a warmer climate so I can leave my weather wardrobe at home.

Here are some of my tips from my traveling experiences.

 

Bikinis: Victorias Secret

•  If you are doing lot's of walking don't wear shoes just because their cute make sure you wear them because their comfortable. I've made this mistake many times. For my upcoming trip I am going to wear my wedge sneakers which are cute an comfortable and flips flops for my pool days. I can't resist heels, a few pairs will be joining me.
• Make sure your suitcase is in functioning order inside and outside. Check all the zippers to make sure they are attached properly and zipping properly. There is nothing worse than your zipper getting broken and you have a suitcase full of clothes and trying to break open the zippers. Also make sure the wheels are secure and rolling properly. I learned this in the middle of HeathrowAirport.
•  If possible roll your clothing. It will still stay wrinkle free, and will free up more space than folding your clothes. After all the shopping you'll do on your trip you definitely will want to use the extra space to your advantage. After all no one enjoys paying extra baggage fees or having their trunk full of bags.
• The Last Tip is to have fun!

Happy First of the month! I am very happy it is November. I had a very rough October with some unforunate events, so I am very excited for November to be here! What I Wore to a Vintage Glam Party...Revel at the Lido

Friday Night I went to a very exciting event in my city called Revel at the Lido.  This event was vintage glam themed party to celebrate 25 years of cruise ships visiting my city and also to toast to the last cruise ship of the season leaving. Cruise Ship visits are very important in my city in terms of economics but also something we also take pride in. I was very excited to dress up in vintage glam. In my head this was going to be like one of Gatsby's parties. It was also perfect because many Halloween parties were going on after the party, so I fit in perfectly.

Olive and Leather: What a Combo!

The days have been getting consistently colder but luckily we have had a few days where the weather have allowed to wear bare legs instead of tights. As you can probably tell from my previous blog posts, leather is a trend i'm loving. When I found this skirt I knew I needed to have it!  I wore this outfit for a few cocktails with the girls.

Blush is...

I wore this outfit for a night out with the Girls to one of our regular watering holes. I love my wax jeans so I decided to pair it with this blush top... the only shade of pink I will wear.  I apologize for the poor quality of these photos. They were taken on my phone and obviously. What I Wore to... Thanksgiving Dinner

I hope all my Canadian readers had a great Thanksgiving Dinner. I am still full from turkey stuffing and pumpkin pie! Today's post is what I wore to Thanksgiving Dinner. I wanted to wear something loose because I knew I would be filling my plate but something a of course... cute. With the sun shining and a warm temperature on my side I was able to wear bare legs,this dress and my sandals...which I later switched for boots.

Trend I'm Loving... Jumpsuits

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share with you a trend i'm loving at the moment... jumpsuits. I was always intimidated by jumpsuits because they always looked great on my tall friends and I thought that because i'm on the shorter side it would not look flattering on me. I decided to finally buy a jumpsuit and fight my fears. I naturally gravitated to this leopard printed one and decided I liked the result. So I have overcome my fear that short people can wear jumpsuits. I wore this outfit to Fashion Forward.

Kim Kardashian Outfit Inspired :Crop top and Peplum

This is an outfit inspired by the fabulous Kim Kardashian. I decided to wear this to a work event. I went to the Waterstreet Dinner Theatre to see their new show The Blown Job. The food was fantastic, the show had me in stitches and a good time was had by all. My interpretation of Kim's outfit was a bit more colorful .I am loving emerald this season so I decided to wear my new skirt and shoes.

Recently one of my childhood friend's tied to the knot! Congratulations Jessica and Justin! I love weddings because I think there is nothing more beautiful than seeing two people share their love with their friends and family. Summertime Sadness

There's nothing I like more in summer than wearing a cute dress. This is one of the favourite summer dresses. I received it last year as an Easter gift and though I have had it for many months I never managed to photograph it. Finally this summer while wearing it to work it was finally photographed.
