Gen Beauty Toronto Creator Cocktail Party 2017

I recently had the opportunity of a lifetime. For the second year in a row I was invited to the Gen Beauty Cocktail party in Toronto.  The party this year was held at the lavish Thompson Hotel Rooftop. I am just a small town girl, who never imagined she would be invited to a rooftop party on at the Thompson Hotel surrounded by people who are just as passionate about beauty and fashion. It literally was a dream come true.

For the party I wanted to wear something that felt big city to me. I bought this dress from Alexa Pope a few years back and I thought it was perfect for the party.

Weleda Calendula Intensive Skin Recovery Miracle for Eczema

I recently had the opportunity to try some natural beauty goodies from MSquared Brands.

Eczema has been something I have suffered with on my chest. I get really bad flare-ups and it is so painful and itchy. My Doctor can't seem to prescribe me something that works. I recently tried the Weleda Calendula Intensive Skin Recovery and it was a match made in heaven. This took away any redness and discoloration and my itch! It was wonderful to go an entire day without dealing with that. Since trying it back in April I have not had any flare ups since.  This is definitely a miracle product if you have any skin issues. I have heard it works wonders for Rosecea, Chapped Lips, and cracked skin too.  This very affordable too. I saw it on Well.ca for only $15. I need to buy one of these to keep in my purse.

A disclaimer though it worked for me but it may not for you. You may also want to check with your Doctor if you have any questions. The ingredients are natural but it's always good to ask.

This jacket is so versatile. For today's look I wanted to wear it with some ripped jeans. It's too cold here yet to wear bare legs, so jeans were the only choice. Little Black Dress

Last Night I went to Greek Night in my city. My best friend is Greek so we all dressed up and went to the Gala to celebrate Greek Independence day. I bought this dress on sale from Hope's a few months ago. I absolutely love this dress. It shows just the right amount of skin while still being classy.

Bite Beauty Lip Pencil Influenster Unboxing

The best things in life are free, even better is free make-up! I recently was chosen for the Bite Beauty lip pencil voxbox from influenster. I was super excited for this box because I have always wanted to try Bite Beauty lipsticks. I've only tried a  deluxe sample of  the Bite Beauty lipgloss, and I loved it. A major plus is the brand is Canadian and their products are handmade with natural ingredients. That gives them major brownie make-up points.

Colourpop Ultra Satin Liquid Lipstick in Femme

I love me a good purple lipsticks and I love me a cheap lipstick as well.  A few months ago I hit the jackpot! Colourpop came out with their Ultra Satin lipstick in the color Femme.

This formula is awesome. The Ultra Satins are a huge improvement over the Colourpop ultra matte liquid lips. It is not drying and it is long lasting. I can drink a coffee and barely any of it will transfer.  I applied this withouta liner and it did not bleed, which can sometimes happen with colourpop products. I have to admit, I thought this color was more a dusty rose colour when I first saw it and I was surprised how purpley it was.
