OOTN: Tribal Nights

Hi Everyone!

I previously blogged about tribal prints being one of the hottest trends of the summer so I decided to wear my new tribal inspired skirt I featured in my last haul. I wore this outfit out for some drinks and dancing with my friends.

OOTN:No Room for the Blues

Sorry everyone once again for the lack of updates. I have started two new jobs so I have been super busy and both jobs require me to wear black so I have been stuck in black pants and tshirts for the past few days. This weekend I did manage go to out and wear some color so I thought I would post some pictures.

Le Chateau and Dear Shay Haul

Hi Everyone,
Today I went shopping and picked up a few things at some of my favourite stores Le Chateau. I really feeling the tribal trend so I picked up a tribal looking skirt, some new wedges and some black shirts because I am starting a new job and that would be my uniform. I also won this cute Dear Shay turquoise bracelet the other day from yellow voices' giveaway.

22nd Birthday

Hi Everyone!

Sorry for the lack of updates it was my birthday the other day so I have been busy having celebrations with different family and friends. I just thought I would post some pictures of some of my birthday celebrations. I'm sorry I don't have any full outfit pics for some reason I didn't take any.

I went to dinner with my family to a local restaurant called Big Tide. It was really good! I'll definitely be going back

On my actual birthday I was lucky enough to score tickets to an 8pm showing of Harry Potter! I got to beat the crowd! It was the best present ever! I was even wished Happy Birthday by Lord Voldemort! Now that was probably my most interesting birthday wisher ever!

China Glaze 2011 Fall Collection:Metro

Since I live in such a small city I get so excited when I visit a big city. New York City, London, Paris, and Montreal are some of the major cities I've fallen in love with. I was so excited when I was emailed this press release about the new China Glaze Fall Collection: Metro.

Skyscraper: A sparkling, glitter blue reminiscent of the sky over the city.

· CG in the City: Glittering dusty purple, bronze and silver multi-tonal glitter, perfect for a pop of edge from West side to East side.

· Urban-Night: Exactly what you need for a night on the town - rich purple crème.

· Traffic Jam: Stop traffic with a breathtaking, raspberry pink crème.

· City Siren: The perfect deep, red crème to match any outfit.

· Loft-y Ambitions: Burgundy shimmer and cocktail hour - nothing better.

· Brownstone: Burnt terracotta crème mirrors the quaint townhouses of the city.

· Midtown Magic: Burgundy base with flecks of gold shimmer captures the latest fashion trend.

· Street Chic: This gorgeous beige crème is the perfect go to shade letting your clothes do the talking.

· Concrete Catwalk: Steel grey crème is amazing for a chic mani.

· Westside Warrior: For the trendsetting woman this camo green crème is to die for.

· Trendsetter: Mustard yellow shimmer translates beautifully from hot dogs to nails.

Just like big cities i'm really excited to try these new polishes. I think China Glaze did a great job of capturing the best essentials of a major city in their new collection. I can't want to wear metro on my nails!

Aye Aye Captain!

I was extremely excited the other day when my friend messaged me and asked if I wanted to go sailing the other night. I have never really been on a boat other than ferries and boat tours in London and New York. In my excitement I wanted to wear something nautical so I searched through my closet and found my sailor striped dress and sailor shorts. Unfortunately I was unable to wear my nautical outfit as wedges were not the most comfortable for sailing and I would get cold. I am really glad I changed because on the end of our travels I was freezing and had a blanket wrapped around me. I must say my first time on a sailboat was lots of fun!

OOTD: Gucci Colorblock Inspired

As I have mentioned before Colorblocking is one of the major trends of the summer. Gucci was one of the major contributors to this trend when their models graced the runways in the popular purple and orange outfit. Celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lawrence, and Sara Carbonero have been spotted wearing the famous collection. My outfit today has been inspired by this trend. I picked up this adorable skirt at Forever21 and matched it with one of my purple shirts to try my own Gucci inspired colorblocking outfit.

OOTN:Black and Yellow

Hi Everyone!

The outfit I am posting today is from Friday night. I went out with some friends to celebrate Canada Day. I know it was Canada Day but I decided not to wear red and white because I had been very patriotic the night before in my outfit. I wanted to wear something bright. I had a great night I watched the fireworks with my friends and partied at the club in the DJ booth.

Happy Canada Day!

Today is Canada Day in honour of this special day I decided to highlight some famous Canadians in the fashion world. Canada is slowly starting to become more involved in the fashion world. We now have two major Canadian fashion magazines Lou Lou and Flare, L'Oreal Fashion Week in Toronto, Ontario and many upcoming models and designers. If Canada continues we can
