I have been in love with leather lately. It seems like every blog or online shopping site you go on there's some sort of leather piece. When I finally found the perfect leather dress I was so happy. I decided to go with the edgy look and add my spike earrings and necklace. I wore this outfit for a night out on the town.

August Glossy Box Review

On September 4, I finally received my Glossy Box for the month of August. It was alittle late but better late than never. The box was done up in its usual presentation. When I opened it up I was happy to see lots of beauty treats.

The box contained...

• A Trend Trunk gift certificate. Mine was worth $5. I hope to find something on the site I can put towards it.

• Kryolan for Glossybox Lipstick
• Kryolan Classic Lipstick
• Befine Fine Food Skin Care
• Elastoplast SOS Blister 

I'm really excited to try the Befine Fine Food Skin Care. I've heard such great things about it and the lipsticks. I love a bright lipstick with a neutral face! Otherwise, I feel like Glossybox is repeating about of brands, every second box seems to have something from Sebastian or Biore. I'd be interested in trying a broader range of products. I also wish the boxes would be distributed earlier in the month, instead of waiting for the last week of every month.

Fall 2012 Trends: Wedge Sneakers

I'm back! Please excuse my lack of blogging I had a very busy summer and started a new job, but don't worry i'm back in the blogging world!

One trend I am loving for fall is wedge sneakers. Last winter I bought a pair, but they had not reached their peak in popularity. Only early trendsetters like Beyonce and Miranda Kerr were spotted wearing the Isabel Marant Bekket sneakers. Now wedge sneakers are everywhere! May Glossybox Review

This month's Glossybox was a surprise as I arrived home to find it delivered without any shipping notifications. Once again I received the box in the latter end of the month. This month I was pleased with the Glossybox when I opened it to find the following items...

• Curel Foot Cream- $3.99/100ml I tried this cream before I went to bed one night. The next morning my feet felt so much softer, smoother and no signs of any cracked heels. With sandal arriving this was the perfect item to try. I think I would buy this product.
• Simple Eye Make-Up Remover-$9.99/56 ml After a late night out I wanted to get to bed so I quickly used this eye make-up remover and it did the trick.
• Simple Facial Wash Gel-$9.99/ 50 ml This face gel leaves my face feeling hydrated and refreshed after using.
• Boxx Cosmetics Cream Correcter- $24/4 grams I haven't really tried this product yet but on a small spot on my face and it seemed to cover it up.
• Sebastian Professional Volupt Shampoo-$15.78/250ml I tried this shampoo I don't really know if it is suited for my hair type.

Overall, I was happy with my  Glossybox for June. Lot's of products I could use from day to day. I can't wait to get my June box.

April 2012 Glossy Box Canada Review

After waiting patiently through almost the whole month of April I finally received my Glossy Box for the month of April. At first I was quite  disgruntled that I had to wait so long once again to receive my box but when I opened my box today that feeling quickly went away. Once again, Glossy Box did not fail to deliver. This month's box was packed with lots of goodies.

The goodies I received in my box for April were...

•  Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer- A full size product regularly priced at $22.99
• Elizabeth Grant Skin Care Shower Gel in Exotic Apricot- A full size product regularly priced at $20.00
• Wella Brilliance Conditioner- A Sample at an estimated price of  $1.67
• Wella Brilliance Treatment-A sample at an estimated price of  $2.33
• Marcelle Xtension Plus Mascara- A full size product regularly priced at $12.50
• Marcelle BB Cream Beauty Balm- A sample priced at $0.51

So in total April's box is $60 in value for $15! What a deal!

I have already tried the Aveeno Moisturizer and Mascara and both are so far so good! The only complaint I had with my box was That my BB cream sample was for light to medium skin and I am medium to dark.

March Glossy Box

I finally decided to join one of the make-up sampling boxes. The box I choose was Glossy Box. For $15 a month you receive a box containing 5-6 make-up samples or sometimes even full sized products.
Last month I received this...

*Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion
*Bailey Cosmetics Fresh Lipgloss in Berry
*Evian Brumisateur Facial Spray
*Pandora's Blush in St Tropez
*Sebastian Re-Shaper Hairspray
*Algemarin Foam Bath

Overall, these products came to over $60 in value so I definitely was very lucky with this month's box. However, I am not sure if I will buy any of these products again. Maybe the Evian Brumisateur since it's very refreshing on the face especially during the warm summer months.

I wish that Glossybox would send their boxes out in a more timely manner. I did not receive March's box until April 2, and I will be receiving April's box on the 30th. Hopefully in time they will correct this.

Color Your World!

After a controversial performance at the Grammy's Nicki Minaj was spotted the next morning on Good Morning America wearing a mesh colorblock dress from Forever 21. When I saw this dress I fell in love and knew I needed to have it! This dress is cute and definitely commands attention.
