I thought I would finally make an outfit post. I am in the process of buying a camera, so my Mom's friend took a picture of my outfit. I wore this outfit yesterday to school. I was doing a group presentation in front of my class so I wanted to look trendy and presentable. Excuse the quality of the photo. I promise my next pictures will be in better quality. Also excuse my hair and make-up I didn't have time to freshen up.

On October 23rd Kanye West premiered his new short film Runaway. While the acting was cheesy in some parts I really enjoyed it. I really liked the filming effect used (not sure what it's called but if you know please let me know), some of the songs used and the symbolism. Overall I thought Kanye West and the gorgeous Selita Ebanks did a great job.After watching the film I was inspired by some of the scenes so I thought why not make a blog post about it. Here are some of the scenes that inspired me:

Kanye has a true passion for fashion. He is always pushing the boundaries with his choice of clothing and adores high fashion. In the video he kept it classy by wearing a bow-tie, a black and white tuxedo jacket and loafers. Though the pieces were quite simple they worked in his benefit and fitted in with the visuals of the film.

Selita Ebanks played an excellent phoenix. She looked gorgeous. I must give props to the make-up artist who did a phenomenal job. Though Selita was not heavily clothed, she did provide some outfit inspiration. Feathers are quite heavily in so I found some pieces that reminded me of the phoenix.

I was so happy to wake-up this morning and discover that a photo for the Lanvin for H&M campaign had been unveiled.
This campaign will hit 200 stores worldwide November 23 and will surely not disappoint! I'm really feeling all the outfits and jewelery. I will be buying the tuxedo blazer,the ruffled dress, and striped dress or I might just end up buying everything in the collection if I can get my hands on it!
I really like what they have done in this photo embracing all ages. Jane Schmitt is still working it! These girls look fierce and like they are heading out for a night of fun. The line appears to have Lanvin trademarks such the feminine lines, noticeable jewelery, asymmetrical shoulders. Alber Elbaz definitely showed his influence on this collection.I am so glad H&M has collections like this for those who can't afford the real Lanvin line

Trend Alert! Trend Alert! A new trend that a few celebrities have been caught wearing is the Turban. The Turban has been seen on celebrities from London, England to New York City, USA. I personally find this trend really cute, however it hasn't been widely received by many. I think if the turban is worn with the right outfit it can be a great headpiece. It is a very stylish way to keep your head warm on those cold winter days.
The lovely British Helen Flanagan was caught wearing a Turban. Even though I don't find the rest of her outfit too hot, I think the turban provides a different and interesting look.
Kourtney Kardashian has been wearing some stylish outfits as usual. She made headlines wearing this Turban. She received much criticism for it and even addressed it on Twitter. Don't worry Kourt I think it looks very cute!
I think by Christmas, we will see many more fabulous faces wearing Turbans and most likely we will be able to buy them at stores like Forever 21.
So the holidays are over. I didn't get to do much shopping due to the stores being closed, but I did however pick up a few things.
I bought this skirt from Forever 21. While it is very basic, it is very cute. Khaki is a very popular color at the moment due to the military trend. I have some cute outfits ideas for this skirt.
I bought this beautiful nail polish from the Nicole by OPI Gossip Girl collection. I just had to have it because I love Gossip Girl and Nail polish. I'm very excited to try this colour.
